Original Remedy (“Original Remedy”, “us”, “ours”, “we”, etc.)  connects healthcare providers to patients. When you register with Original Remedy as a User (“user”, “you”, “your, “patient”, etc.), you are eligible to use our healthcare services. These healthcare services are optional. We use the information you share with us to customize your care and help provide you access to a healthcare provider who will develop a personalized treatment plan for you. 


Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. It describes how we may collect, use, store, disclose or otherwise process your personal information when you interact with us through our website, secure patient platform and or other communication channels under our control, including but not limited to email, telephone or secure messaging (collectively, the “services"). 


Website users can review our services and our resources. We do not consider this to be health information. Once a website user completes and submits our patient intake and consents to treatment via telemedicine (or if applicable, the parent/guardian on behalf of said user), then that user is viewed as “patient user.”

1. Collection of Information

Original Remedy securely collects and stores a variety of information in order to provide healthcare services to you. The personal information collected about you when you interact with our services include but are not limited to: name, billing address, email address, telephone number, other relevant data. 

Personal information collected may include identifiers such as first and last name, date of birth, physical address, sex or gender, phone number, etc.


Health Information collected may include medical history, allergies, symptoms, diagnosis, medications, treatments and outcomes, photos for the purposes of diagnosis or treatment, etc.

Payment Information. When you pay for a service on our site, we may collect payment card information in order to bill through our third party service provider including your name, billing address, expiration date and authentication code. This information will be securely transmitted consistently with payment card industry rules and regulations. 

2. Use of Information

We use your personal information for the following purposes:

  1. To verify your identity as the holder of an account or as the parent/guardian of a patient user. 

  2. To provide telemedicine and related services to our patient users via our licensed medical providers.

  3. To administer your account, process payments and provide you with customer/patient support. 

  4. To notify you when site updates are available.

  5. To market and promote the site and our services to you. 

3. Sharing of Information

We understand the importance of protecting the confidentiality of your information. We only use and share your personal information to the extent that it allows us to fulfill your healthcare requests and meet our legitimate business and legal objectives. 

We limit the disclosure of your personal health information to the following:

  • To third party service providers with whom we may collaborate with to offer and deliver the services. 

  • In order to comply with applicable laws or legal processes. 

  • Facilitate online chat, audio, or video consultations with authorized healthcare providers. 

  • Send your information in order to facilitate referrals to healthcare specialists not part of Original Remedy. 

  • Market our services to you and send you communications or notices you requested or offers tailored to you.

However, if you configure your setting to block all cookies you may limit the functionality we can provide when you visit our site.

Original Remedy understands the importance of securing and keeping your personal health information confidential. We take every step necessary to protect your information and use only HIPAA protected secure patient messaging platforms and electronic health record keeping systems. We also continuously review and implement any new technology or measures to protect your information. However, please be aware that using the internet comes with inherent risks and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure. There is some risk that an authorized third party may find a way to intercept your information. You acknowledge that Original Remedy cannot guarantee the security of your information.

Your information may be retained as required or permitted by applicable laws and regulations.

If you do not want your information transferred to or processed or stored outside of the country or jurisdiction where you are located, you should not use these services.

This site is not intended to be used by minors under the age of 18 without parental or guardian consent. If Original Remedy has knowledge that personal information about a minor under the age of 18 has been collected without the consent of a parent or legal guardian, then Original Remedy will take appropriate steps to remove or disable that personal information.

Original Remedy reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time at our sole discretion. Any changes will become effective when we post the revised notice as updated above. Your use of these services following this notice means that you acknowledge and accept the revised Privacy Policy.
