About prescription renewals
-
Various factors will be assessed when determining if a prescription renewal is medically appropriate. For example, your healthcare provider may want to know when it was you last took your medication, when you had your last in person physical and if you have had appropriate lab testing.
When you request a prescription renewal, you will need to provide an image of your last prescription either in the form of a prescription label or a screenshot from your medical records.
There may also be a limit to the number of renewal requests that a provider can evaluate in a pay-per-virtual visit. The day supply for the medication will be determined through the healthcare assessment and maybe between 30 days to 3 months depending on what is medically appropriate as assessed by your online provider.
